This series consists of a copy of a single report with accompanying photographs describing employee living conditions at the Pierre Indian School. The report, submitted by the Superintendent of Indian Affairs, is divided into three parts. The first portion provides information on the availability of schools, churches, recreational facilities, and shops within the Pierre area. The second section describes the physical conditions of employee housing and the value estimated per annum of the facilities and the amount deducted from employee salaries to cover benefits. 16 photographs of school buildings and employee housing comprise the final section of the report.
